The 2014-2015 NBA season has already started and basketball fans all over the world are definitely all smiles now that the world’s most renowned basketball league is once again back in action. Even though we are barely a week into the new season, several basketball pundits have already started looking at some of the potential top picks for next year’s NBA draft. It will be exciting to see which of the current top college players will be making an impact once they get to the NBA. With that being said, here is what the NBA mock draft 2015 currently looks like.
The Philadelphia 76ers were one of the worst teams in the entire NBA last year despite having a very talented player in Michael Carter-Williams who is now in his second season. The Sixers are a young team, but they still lack talent on both sides of the court which is why many experts believe that they will have the first pick for next year’s draft.
If the Sixers do manage to get away with the number one pick for next year, then they might want to use that on Duke center Jahlil Okafor. The 6’11’ Okafor has a soft touch around the rim and is able to body his way in to the paint because of his size. Good centers are a rarity in this day and age which is why Philadelphia should not pass up on drafting Okafor should they ever get the chance. (more…)
