Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech)

There are many ways to "visualize" the human body.  In addition to the more traditional x-ray, medical practitioners have now found that exposing the body to a strong magnet will cause the natural electrical variances in body cells to act in unison. These variances can be measured and a picture of the internal organs of the body is produced with the aid of a computer program. These pictures of the body are then used by physicians to diagnose abnormal structures and diseases.
